Poland is ready to shut the traffic across the border with Belarus completely, Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Pawel Jablonski said, Report informs via Polish Radio.
"If there is such a need, especially motivated by security issues, then we are definitely ready. But we will analyze this as events develop," he said.
Earlier, it was reported that Poland on Tuesday 19.00 would stop the movement of trucks at the last working checkpoint with Belarus Kukuryki-Kozlovichi. Last week, at the initiative of the Polish authorities, the Polish-Belarusian checkpoint Bobrovniki was closed. Thus, not a single cargo checkpoint remained on the Belarusian-Polish border and there is only one passenger checkpoint Brest-Terespol.
