Media: US is worried about expansion of Russian-Chinese cooperation

US officials reportedly expressed concern about the expansion of cooperation between Russia and China.

Report informs citing foreign press that three unnamed US officials said the country's Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke about this in a conversation with his colleagues from NATO and the European Union (EU).

According to those officials, Blinken highlighted China's support to Russia in the production of optical devices, propellant and space equipment.

They said Blinken emphasized that China's assistance not only allows Russia to continue its military aggression against Ukraine but also threatens other countries.

It is also reported that the US Secretary of State advised his counterparts to speak openly about this in bilateral discussions with Chinese officials, to publicize their concerns about the expansion of China-Russia cooperation, and to take action against companies that provide assistance to the Russian Military-Industrial Complex (MIC).
