Loud explosion heard in Damascus, causes unknown

A loud explosion was heard Tuesday evening in the Syrian capital, Damascus, particularly in the western Mazzeh neighborhood, according to witnesses and local media, Report informs via Xinhua.

The cause of the blast remains unknown.
