"The spread of COVID-19 means that we must restore some of the stricter restrictions that were imposed in the spring," the decree says.
According to the mayor's decision, the ordinance, introduced earlier in the summer, is temporarily replaced by another order "necessary to protect the life and property of Los Angeles," which takes effect immediately.
"All persons residing in Los Angeles are required to stay at home," the order says. Authorities should provide temporary shelter for the homeless. You can only leave your place of residence if necessary. According to the affix, all businesses and companies that require employees' presence and are not subject to exceptions must suspend their activities.
