London mobilizes 3.5 thousand servicemen in case of hard Brexit

Baku. 19 December. REPORT.AZ / “London intends to bring 3,500 servicemen to a state of high readiness to cope with "any unforeseen circumstances" in the case of a hard option of the UK's withdrawal from the EU (Brexit),” British Defense Minister Gavin Williamson said.

Report informs citing the Deutsche Wellet that, in his turn, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Amber Rudd said such a training is a precautionary measure. The priority for the government remains the preservation of the deal with Brussels, said the Secretary responding to Stephen Barkley on the UK's exit from the EU.

Earlier, the British government intensified the preparations for the country's exit from the European Union without a final agreement.
