Lavrov: Russia has not heard constructive ideas from Europe on Ukraine

Russia has not heard constructive ideas from European leaders regarding a settlement of the situation in Ukraine during their visit to Washington, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference, Report informs via Russian media.
“So far, we only see rather aggressive escalation, attempts to influence the position of the US President (Donald Trump - ed.),” he noted.
According to him, such a stance from European leaders could be observed during the meeting in Washington on Monday (August 18).
“We did not hear any constructive ideas from the Europeans there,” Lavrov added.
