Latvia bans unvaccinated citizens from going to shops

The three-month state of emergency imposed by the Latvian authority due to the growing number of coronavirus infections has already taken effect, Report informs, citing local media.

The decision will impose more stringent domestic controls on those who are not vaccinated. Thus, unvaccinated citizens in the country are not allowed to go to the shops. At the same time, non-vaccinated people cannot enter the territory of trade kiosks unless necessary.

The Latvian government said it had made the decision to limit the rapid spread of the virus. At the same time, there are many unvaccinated citizens in the country.

The Baltic state has twice declared a state of emergency for COVID-19.
