Republican presidential running mate JD Vance said Thursday he will debate Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz on October 1, while also challenging his opponent to accept another debate, on September 18, Report informs via CNBC.
“The American people deserve as many debates as possible, which is why President Trump has challenged Kamala to three of them already,” Vance, a US senator from Ohio, said in a post on social media platform X.
“Not only do I accept the CBS debate on October 1st, I accept the CNN debate on September 18th as well,” the running mate to former President Donald Trump said. “I look forward to seeing you at both!”
Walz, the Minnesota governor and running mate to Vice President Kamala Harris, on Wednesday had agreed to face off with Vance on Oct. 1 in a debate hosted by CBS News.
