Japan plans to conduct 30 space launches annually by 2035, Minister of Economic Security Sanae Takaichi said, Report informs referring to TASS.
“We have set this target taking into account the growing demand both domestically and abroad. We want to transform the space industry into an area that can attract funds from the global market,” she noted.
She estimates that by the mid-2030s, 10 launches should be carried out annually by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, with the remaining 20 launches coming from the private sector.
