Iraqi helicopter crashes during training flight

At least one soldier was injured in a helicopter crash in the city of Kut in southeastern Iraq, Report informs via TASS.

“During a training flight <...> on Bell JetRanger helicopters intended for training at the Kut airbase, the aircraft crashed due to a technical malfunction, resulting in minor injuries to the pilot,” the country's Ministry of Defense said in a post on X.

The technical commission has already begun an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
