Mohammed Al-Bashir has been appointed as the head of Syria's interim government, which will be formed under his leadership within three months, Report informs referring to Al-Hadath TV channel.
"By the decision of the main command, we have been authorized to form an interim government. This is preliminarily scheduled to be done by March 1, 2025," Al-Bashir said.
He noted that the decision was made on December 10 during a meeting between representatives of the armed opposition leadership, members of the opposition "salvation government," and representatives of the former government.
