The man who attempted to assassinate Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump managed to launch a drone to survey the area just hours before the campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
According to Report, which cites WSJ, the shooter, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, launched the drone multiple times as part of his preparation for the shooting at the Butler Farm Show exhibition grounds, where Trump was delivering a speech.
This revelation adds to the growing evidence of the "staggering scale of security failures" that nearly resulted in the killing of the former president.
