The number of registered coronavirus cases in the world reached 108,812,060 on early February 15, Report informs, citing the US Johns Hopkins University.

The number of COVID-19-related deaths globally increased to 2,399,789, while more than 80 million people recovered from the disease.

Countries with 5 million or more infected with COVID-19 include the US, India, and Brazil.

The United States tops the list of countries in terms of COVID infection cases and deaths. The country accounts for 27,639,538 infection cases were detected, including 485,322 deaths, and about 18 million recoveries.

In India, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 was 10,916,589, the number of deaths reached 155,732, and about 11 million people recovered.

Brazil has registered 9,834,513 cases, of which 239,245 resulted in death, while more than 8.7 million were cured of the disease.
