A leaders declaration at the summit of the Group of 20 (G20) major economies was adopted on Wednesday, several diplomatic sources told Reuters, Report informs.
There is no official information regarding the resolution from the organizers. The draft document contained 50 paragraphs, but it is unclear whether any changes were made to it.
In particular, most of the G20 countries, as noted in the draft document, strongly condemn the war in Ukraine, but among them there are other opinions about this situation. In addition, they pointed out that the conflict in Ukraine aggravated the existing problems of the world economy.
Another paragraph stated that the current era should not become an era of war. In addition, the document notes that the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons is unacceptable.
The draft document also gives a high assessment and emphasizes the importance of the grain deal. There is a need for comprehensive, timely and consistent implementation of this agreement, which expires on November 19 and is automatically extended for 120 days if none of the parties (Russia, Ukraine, the UN, Turkey) opposes.
The main part of the draft communique is devoted to the issues that are being discussed at the current summit: food and energy security, digital transformation and healthcare.
