France to reconsider ties with Britain

Paris needs to reconsider its relations with London, which has violated its obligations, including trade, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Driane said, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

"At this stage, I can say that the crisis that we are now going through is serious. It has not ended only because the dialogue has resumed. It will continue, and getting out of it will require serious action, not words," the minister said.

He also called for a reconsideration of cooperation with Australia due to undermined trust. The foreign minister noted that the French ambassador would return to Canberra, but consultations continued.

The United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia entered into a partnership in the field of defense and security (AUKUS), and the latter withdrew from an agreement of 56 billion euros with the French company Naval Group, which provided for the production of 12 Barracuda-class attack submarines.
