Foreign Ministry says Russia will no longer participate in Council of Europe

Russia will no longer participate in the Council of Europe, the country's Foreign Ministry said, Report informs, citing TASS.

The ministry said that the EU countries that are not friendly to Russia are pursuing a discrimination policy against Moscow.

"The course of events has become irreversible. We do not intend to tolerate the violation of international law by the United States and the provocative collective rhetoric of the West," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
