Press: Five British ministers will resign in the case of "hard" Brexit

Five Ministers of the British government are ready to resign due to the fear of the country's exit from the European Union without a deal, Report informs citing the Kommersant.

British media reports citing the source that "a lot" of conservatives may also resign in this case.

According to the information, Culture Secretary Nicky Morgan, Secretary of Northern Ireland Julian Smith, Justice Minister Robert Buckland, Health Minister Matthew Hancock and Attorney-General Charles Geoffrey Cox could resign.

"The Cabinet will determine the strategy, but not the elected officials. If this is an attempt to change the option, it will fail, " said one of the Ministers.

Earlier, during telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that he was not going to postpone the UK's exit from the EU, despite the demands of the British Parliament. Last week, the coordination group of the European Parliament said that it did not accept the terms of the agreement proposed by Johnson's government.
