Former Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz has founded a company in the country, Report informs referring to Kronen Zeitung newspaper.

According to the newspaper, Kurz founded SK Management GmbH in the Federal state of Lower Austria, the Waldviertel region, with which he is closely associated - his grandparents are from there.

Kurz is the managing director and sole shareholder of his firm. The capital contribution amounted to 35,000 euros. When the company was founded, the direction of activity was “ownership of shares, management of shares, provision of management services, management consulting.”

Earlier it became known that Kurz in February will start working in the United States in the company of Donald Trump’s associate, billionaire and investor Peter Thiel, where his annual income may exceed 500,000 euros.

In October 2021, Sebastian Kurz resigned as chancellor amid an anti-corruption investigation, and in December announced his final retirement from politics.
