The European Union (EU) will begin early trials of the coronavirus vaccination certificate system on May 10, called the "green digital pass," Report informs, citing TASS.
"The first phase of early testing of the green digital pass system will begin in the EU on May 10, with 19 EU states [out of 27] participating," the source said.
"We expect that the approval will not take much time, and the application of this document in practice will begin in the EU in June, as expected."
The "green digital pass" will include three blocks of information: on vaccination with EU-certified vaccines, latest PCR tests, and COVID-19 cases. The scope of the document is still not fully defined. The paper is expected to simplify the sanitary rules of cross-border travel for persons who are immune to coronavirus infection.
