The Estonian government has decided to impose a strict quarantine regime due to the widespread British COVID-19 strain (B.1.1.7), said Prime Minister Kaja Kallas.

Thus, the decision, which will take effect on March 11, will last a month.

According to the government's decision, from March 11, all students will get distance education, except for children with special needs. Parents of preschool children are advised to take their children to kindergarten if necessary.

All retail outlets will be closed, except for pharmacies, grocery stores, and other vital facilities. The distribution of goods can be organized only on the street. It will be forbidden to do sports indoors.
