Baku. 22 November. REPORT.AZ/ Eight people died, five more were injured as a result of armed attack on a building of French drilling company Foraco in Diffa area in southeastern Niger.
Report informs citing TASS that, according to company's official statement, at 02.00 am local time a group of militants broke into a small buildings where Foraco employees were sleeping and killed seven of them and one citizen of Niger. Five employees were wounded, two of them are in critical condition.
Reuters reported citing a source in the Niger security structures that the responsibility for the assault may lie with Boko Haram militants acting in the territory of Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon and Chad.
