The death toll in Thailand has been raised to three after a building collapsed in Bangkok following a powerful earthquake, Report informs via The Telegraph.
Chadchart Sittipunt, the city’s governor, warned of possible aftershocks but urged people to be calm and said the situation was largely under control.

Authorities had received 169 calls about damage to buildings in Bangkok, he said.
Urban rail systems in Bangkok were temporarily closed but are expected to resume services on Saturday.

A building in the Thai capital fell as a result of an earthquake, the Khaosod newspaper said, but provided no information about the casualties, Report informs via TASS.
The magnitude of the tremors reached 7.4, the newspaper said.
Earlier, a TASS correspondent reported that in Bangkok, residents of multi-storey buildings were evacuated because of the earthquake.
