US President Joe Biden plans to meet with his Filipino counterpart Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who arrived in New York to attend the UN General Assembly.
Report informs citing TASS that this will be the first meeting of the leaders of the two countries over the last five years.
The last meeting between the Presidents of the United States and the Philippines took place in 2017. Back then, Donald Trump was in power in the United States, and Rodrigo Duterte was in power in the Philippines.
