Biden, Macron mull situation in Afghanistan

Presidents of the United States and France Joseph Biden and Emmanuel Macron have discussed the situation in Afghanistan on the phone, including the evacuation of the countries' nationals from the Kabul airport, Report informs, citing the press service of the White House.
The sides stressed the importance of continuing close coordination among the allies and democratic partners on Afghanistan, including humanitarian assistance and support for refugees.
The two leaders also welcomed the plans to hold the virtual summit of G7 on Afghanistan next week.
