The Bavarian authorities intend to lift quarantine restrictions on May 6 for those vaccinated against COVID-19 and those who recovered, Report informs, citing the Minister-President of the southern German land of Bavaria Markus Söder.

Vaccinated residents and those previously recovered from COVID-19 will be able to freely meet with relatives and friends. They do not need to observe the curfew and provide coronavirus test results when visiting various institutions and shops. However, the general curfew from 22:00 to 05:00 will remain in effect.

It is possible to operate open-air restaurants and cultural institutions if in a particular district or city of Bavaria the number of people infected does not exceed 100 per 100,000 inhabitants ratio for seven consecutive days. However, Bavarians are subject to the observance of social distance and wearing protective masks.

Federal authorities of Germany intend to ease quarantine for those vaccinated against COVID-19 or recovered from the disease throughout the country possibly at the weekend.
