Austria to allocate 10M euros to ICRC, WHO and UNICEF to help Palestinians

The Austrian government has decided to allocate 10 million euros to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to provide assistance to the civilian population of the Gaza Strip, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said, Report informs referring to TASS.

“The humanitarian situation in Gaza is catastrophic and no one can ignore this. We are supporting the vital work of international organizations on the ground with further 10 million euros. During negotiations on the ground, I will continue to advocate for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire so that more supplies can flow into Gaza assistance and at the same time the hostages were freed,” he noted.
