Iranian leaders are confident in the country's position after several weeks of US and Israeli strikes and consider a renewed American military campaign unlikely.
According to the Associated Press, cited by Report, Iranian officials believe US President Donald Trump is unlikely to follow through on threats to resume military action, as Tehran has demonstrated its ability to disrupt traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and affect the global economy.
AP also reports that Iran's leadership is projecting confidence after managing to maintain its position despite intensive strikes by the United States and Israel.
