Milli Majlis Speaker: If we can resolve the conflict peacefully, why should we call for war?

"We carry out substantive work to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. If we call for war in the discussion on the conflict, what will we gain? If we can resolve the conflict peacefully, why should we call for war? " Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov said.

Report informs that he spoke at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis held today.

"We tell those living in Nagorno-Karabakh that they are Azerbaijani citizens, we address the world. If the fulfillment of Azerbaijan's conditions is possible by peaceful means, why should we stand against it? One unwise Armenian minister said that they must seize the Azerbaijani land. They understand that they will not achieve anything by this way, all these are an empty talk, they want to incite us," Asadov said.
