Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker to pay business trip to Uzbekistan

On September 7, the Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova will pay a business trip to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to participate in the 14th Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told Report.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis is expected to deliver a speech on "Eliminating risks to post-pandemic global recovery" at the first session of the 14th Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament. After the summit, the Tashkent Declaration will be adopted at the end of the round table with the participation of women parliament speakers.

As part of the visit, meetings of the Speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan with the leaders of the parliaments of a number of countries that will participate in the summit are also planned.

The business trip will end on September 10.
