Azerbaijani MP Elshan Musayev proposed to increase the amount of funds allocated to ensure the security of Azerbaijani embassies and diplomatic corps abroad, Report informs.
Speaking at the first plenary meeting of the extraordinary session of the Milli Majlis (Paliament), Musayev said strengthening the security of Azerbaijani embassies and diplomatic corps abroad is a priority issue:
“The Azerbaijani embassy in Iran was subjected to a terrorist attack some time ago. Therefore, all possible resources should be attracted to ensure the security of the diplomatic corps. These measures must be taken before the conclusion of a peace agreement with Armenia, since we are still not immune from terrorist attacks by persons who cannot accept the accomplishments of Azerbaijan and are unreasonably at enmity with us.”
