Irakli Kobakhidze: Georgia and Azerbaijan are reliable strategic partners

"Georgia and Azerbaijan are reliable strategic partners," Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, Irakli Kobakhidze said at a meeting with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Oqtay Asadov in Azerbaijan.

"There are historical friendly relations between the two countries. Heydar Aliyev had great merits in the development of these relations. These ties are developing dynamically under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. The fact that Azerbaijan respects the territorial integrity of Georgia is very important. And Georgia respects the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, too. We hope that conflicts will be resolved peacefully. In general, peace and stability are very important for our countries. In the absence of peace and stability, big problems may arise in the development of our countries, " Kobakhidze said.
