Committee head: Dietary supplements should not be prescribed for treatment

Physicians should not prescribe dietary supplements along with medications for treatment, Ahliman Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Health Committee of the Milli Majlis said.
According to Report, he stressed the need for strict control over this process.
Amiraslanov also added that the prices for medicines in Azerbaijan should be optimized: “Prices for medicines in Azerbaijan are high. It is necessary to study the prices of medicines in other countries. The Tariff Council should take this into account when regulating prices.”
