Azerbaijani parliament approves 2024 state budget

At the plenary meeting of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) held today, the bill "On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024" was discussed and approved in the third reading.

Report informs that the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industries, and Enterprising, Tahir Mirkishili, presented the bill.

According to the bill, the revenues of the state budget will be 34.17 billion manats ($20.1 billion), expenses - 36.76 billion manats ($21.62 billion), and the deficit - 2.59 billion manats ($1.52 billion) in 2024. The revenues of the consolidated budget will make up 39 billion manats ($22.94 billion), the expenses - 42.38 billion manats ($24.92 billion), and the deficit - 3.38 billion manats ($1.98 billion).
