Ziyafat Asgarov, chairman of the Azerbaijani parliamentary committee on defense, security, and anti-corruption, has proposed to establish a safe zone on Azerbaijan's border with Armenia.
Speaking in the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, Asgarov noted that the people who will be resettled in those areas should live comfortably: "We suggest that a safe zone be created on the border with Armenia so that our internally displaced persons who will be resettled there feel comfortable."
Asgarov said that Armenia always resorts to provocations: "Pashinyan talks about something else in Brussels, but when he comes to his country, he acts differently."
