Zelenskyy's special rep: Russia's frozen assets around world will be directed to Ukraine

Russia's frozen assets around the world will be directed to Ukraine, a Special representative of the President of Ukraine, the MP of the Verkhovna Rada, Fedor Venislavsky, told Report.

According to him, Ukraine supports the creation of a special international tribunal to bring Russia and its military-political leadership to justice:

"We are talking about the crime associated with this occupation. The second subject of future court proceedings is compensation for the financial damage caused to Ukraine as a result of the terrorist activities of the Russian Federation and the shelling of cities, villages, and citizens. So far, the damage to Ukraine has exceeded half a trillion US dollars, which will continue to grow. This is the amount of direct damage to Ukraine. It isn't easy to calculate how much funds will be required to clean mined areas and ecological restoration. We are not yet talking about the untold damage caused by killing thousands of civilians. But the direct damage is up to $700 billion, and Russia's frozen assets around the world will be used to repair this damage."
