Zakir Hasanov: Armenia's persistent armament policy gravely threatens regional stability

Armenia's continued armament policy is the most serious threat to regional stability, Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov said at the press conference held after the 11th tripartite meeting of the defense ministers of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia held in Batumi, Report informs via TRT Haber.

Minister Hasanov emphasized Azerbaijan's keen interest in resolving regional issues in cooperation with neighboring countries. However, he cautioned: "Armenia's revanchist actions persist. With its constitution harboring territorial claims against neighboring countries, particularly Azerbaijan, Armenia's ongoing armament and the interference of extra-regional powers in the area via Armenia could evolve into a source of danger not only for Azerbaijan but the entire region."
