Number of defused mines, unexploded ordnance in Azerbaijan's liberated areas revealed

The number of mines and unexploded ordnance defused in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan since the end of the Second Karabakh War has been announced.

According to Report, Chairman of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov said at the event dedicated to the presentation of the agency's new logo that more than 50,000 hectares of land in the liberated areas had been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.

"About 67,000 pieces of mines and unexploded ordnance were neutralized," he said.
