Commander of Azerbaijani Land Forces: “Military exercises with Turkiye are developing rapidly”

“Following the requirements of the Shusha Declaration, very important work is carried out to strengthen stability and security in the Caucasus region, and restore all economic and transport communications,” Deputy Defense Minister - Commander of the Land Forces Lieutenant General, Anvar Efendiyev, said at the international conference on 'Azerbaijani-Turkish strategic allied relations - the source of peace and stability for the Caucasus and the region' held in Shusha, Report informs.

According to him, the joint initiatives of Azerbaijan and Turkiye to normalize relations between the countries of the region and ensure long-term peace continue at a high level.

"As in other areas, in accordance with paragraphs 11, 12, and 13 of the Shusha Declaration, the cooperation in military training and education between our Armed Forces is rapidly developing." the Lieutenant General said.
