Azerbaijani peacekeepers return home from Afghanistan

The Azerbaijani peacekeepers evacuated from Afghanistan have returned home.
Report informs that the welcoming ceremony was held for the 120-strong contingent of Azerbaijani peacekeepers who returned to Baku after completing their service duties at the Kabul International Airport.
The Azerbaijani servicemen were flown to Ankara at around 01:00 on August 26, alongside their arms and military belongings.
Azerbaijani peacekeepers, who, together with the fraternal Turkish troops, completed the tasks set, have shown high professionalism in ensuring security in Afghanistan.
