Azerbaijani chief of general staff meets with Italian defense minister

As part of the official visit to the Republic of Italy, First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev met with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Italy, Guido Crosetto, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s MoD.

The sides exchanged detailed views on the current state and development prospects of military cooperation between the two countries, as well as on other issues of common interest.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Italy Rashad Aslanov also attended the meeting.
