Baku. 21 May. REPORT.AZ/ Date of trial on National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) lawsuit against ANS Independent Broadcasting Media Company, which will be held at Baku Administrative Economic Court No.1, has been unveiled.

Report informs, the hearing, to be presided by judge Vusala Bakhishova, scheduled for June 3.

Notably, in 2015, the NTRC filed a lawsuit against ANS Independent Broadcasting Media Company and required repayment of 160,000 AZN, allocated for producing 'Absheron' series, as well as 8,000 AZN penalty to the state budget. Thus, the NTRC stated that ANS TV presented 'Sevgi namine' (For the sake of love) series to the council instead of 'Absheron'.

During consideration of the NTRC lawsuit at Baku Administrative Economic Court No.1, ANS filed a counter claim. However, judge Vusala Bakhishova didn't accepted the counter claim for consideration. The TV company filed an appeal against a ruling on not considering the claim. Baku Court of Appeal didn't remedied the appeal of ANS, so, the decision of Baku Administrative Economic Court No.1 upheld. However, ANS filed a cassation appeal against the ruling. The Supreme Court also didn't remedied the appeal. The case will be reconsidered at Baku Administrative Economic Court No.1.
