Azerbaijan's Audiovisual Council hosts meeting with OSCE/ODIHR rep

Azerbaijan's Audiovisual Council held a meeting with Kira Kalinina, a media analyst for the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) observation mission, the Council told Report.
The head of the Audiovisual Council's office, Fazil Novruzov, gave extensive information about the Council's activities, touched upon innovations in the sphere of regulating audiovisual media, monitoring television and radio channels after the adoption of the Law "On Media."
The meeting participants discussed issues of conducting election campaigning on television and radio in connection with the upcoming snap parliamentary elections, monitoring the election campaign on television and radio, as well as other issues.
