Zakharova: OSCE Minsk Group format sent to dustbin of history

If anyone has undermined the efforts for an Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement, it is the Western countries themselves, led by the US, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

“The format of the OSCE Minsk Group was sent to the dustbin of history after the US and French co-chairs, under a far-fetched pretext, stopped interacting with their Russian counterpart in February 2022. Moreover, no clear explanations were received from them. With this in mind, we focused on providing assistance Baku and Yerevan within the trilateral formats based on a set of relevant agreements. We don’t see that the mediation be filled with real steps and have any added value,” she noted.
