Turkish National Security Council to mull situation in Karabakh

A meeting of the Turkish National Security Council will take place today, Report states, citing TRT Haber.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will chair the conference for the first time this year.

The meeting participants will also discuss the formation and future activity of the Russian-Turkish Joint Monitoring Center, which will observe the ceasefire in Karabakh and be located in Agdam.

The agenda also includes the PKK terrorist activities in Iraq and the steps to address this challenge, the latest situation in Syria and Libya, meetings between Turkish and Greek officials, and Turkish-EU relations.

The Russian-Turkish Joint Monitoring Center will be represented by 60 service members from both Russia and Turkey. They will monitor the ceasefire with a drone.
