Azerbaijani, Russian mine detectors begin joint training in Agdam

Employees of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations and Russia's Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief have started joint training courses in Agdam. According to the Karabakh Center of Report, the training will last 45 days.

The participants will get acquainted with the working principles of mine clearance robots and other technical equipment, mastering the relief in the demining area. Moreover, Russian mine detectors will be informed about the advantages of the facilities and specialized equipment used to clear the area of mines.

A group of Russian pyrotechnicians arrived in Azerbaijan on January 4, 2021, to clear Azerbaijan's liberated territories from mines. The group, which includes 20 professionals, is equipped with the latest machinery and equipment. The group also has a trained mine detection dog.
