Russian foreign minister says situation stable in Karabakh

"The main result of the agreements reached in 2020 between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on the complete cessation of the hostilities in Karabakh is the achievement of stability in the conflict zone," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, Report's Russian bureau informs.

According to him, the Russian peacekeeping forces are contributing to maintaining stability in the region: “Currently, we do not witness any acts of violence. Minor incidents at an early stage were quickly resolved. I want to re-emphasize that the situation there is stable now."

Sergei Lavrov also said that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs reached an agreement with official Baku and Yerevan in New York on the resumption of working visits to the region.
