The demands of environmental activists protesting on the Khankandi-Lachin road against environmental pollution and the illegal exploitation of natural resources are very important, Travel Magazine journalist Robert Parker, covering the protest of Azerbaijani environmental activists, told journalists, Report informs.
He noted that this is his first trip to Karabakh.
“I just arrived today and I am very happy and proud to see how young people are protesting against environmental crimes,” he said.
Parker noted that the duty of every person on this earth is to preserve the beauty of nature.
“There are very beautiful mountains here in Karabakh. I think what they [eco-activists] are doing to stop pollution is very important,” Parker concluded.
