President: Armenia wants this occupation to last forever

"During this time, I have repeatedly stated that we want this issue to be resolved at the negotiating table. However, Armenia does not allow it, grossly violated the ceasefire declared three times, including the bombing of Ganja with ballistic missiles, then the shelling of Barda city, so we suffered many casualties. This once again shows the inhumane behavior of Armenia and reveals that they do not want peace," President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said while receiving a delegation led by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on November 1.

"They want this occupation to last forever and re-occupying the settlements liberated by our army. It is the main reason for the continuation of the war. If Armenia gives up its ugly deeds, then a ceasefire will be ensured, and the issue will be solved.

"But I hope that this process will not take long because we have been waiting for 30 years. We want the withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from other occupied territories to be guaranteed as soon as possible at the negotiation table. Otherwise, we will continue to restore our territorial integrity by any means, and, as I said, we will go all the way," the head of state added.
