Participants of mine action conference view reconstruction works in Zangilan

Participants of the 3rd international conference on Mitigating Environmental Impact of Landmines: Resource Mobilization for Safe and Green Future in Zangilan have viewed the reconstruction work in Zangilan.

According to Report, more than 300 delegates from 75 countries are taking part in the conference.

First, the participants visited the Zangilan Mosque. They were informed that the foundation of the new mosque was laid by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev after the liberation of the city from occupation - on April 26, 2021.

After that, they walked through the streets of the smart village of Aghali, which became the first settlement where former internally displaced persons returned after the liberation of the region.

The guests visited the local school and the State Services Center.
