Moscow comments on situation on Azerbaijan-Armenia border

The recent armed incidents on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border cause concern. Russia is ready to provide every assistance to normalize the situation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

"We are seriously concerned about the recent armed incidents on separate sections of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, which caused human losses. We extend our condolences to the families of the deceased and wish recovery to those who suffered," the statement reads.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also expressed readiness to provide every necessary assistance to normalizing the situation in the area of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border 'through de-escalation measures and the soonest launch of the joint work on border delimitation and demarkation.'
